In 1994, he was invited to become Director of the Center on Fathering, where he led efforts to promote the “Brotherhood of Fatherhood” and expand services for fathers, their partners, and their children. Through direct services, parenting education, and community resources, Ken became a trusted leader in helping families build stronger relationships.

A cornerstone of Ken’s impact has been his leadership in implementing the Nurturing Fathers curriculum. After retiring from his director role, Ken continued his work as a key catalyst in developing the Nurturing Dads and Partners (NDAP) curriculum, which continues to be used across Colorado today. NDAP reflects Ken’s belief that supporting fathers must go hand in hand with supporting mothers, children, and caregivers.
